How is AEO different from SEO?
SEO gets your pages to rank in the list of search results people scroll and click. AEO gets your firm named inside the AI answer that now sits above that list. They share foundations but reward different things.
How do I know if my firm shows up in AI search?
Ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI Overview the questions your clients would ask, such as who's the best accountant for a small business in your city, and note whether your firm is named and who appears instead.
How long does it take to see results?
Most changes take a few weeks to show, because the engines need to re-crawl your site and reflect new reviews and structured data. A realistic window is four to six weeks after the work is done.
